Homemade Aloe Vera Leave-In Conditioner

Aloe Vera is the superman of beauty products. Even if you’re not an expert in comics heroes, everybody knows superman! Aloe is the same way, even if you’re not a beauty expect you know that aloe Vera is the jam!
Whether it’s in hair or skin product almost every beauty product is proud to list Aloe Vera in their product and for good reason. Beauty creams, shampoo, and conditioner to healthy juices and diet supplements
Aloe Vera contains antiviral and antibacterial properties, and the ability to help treat everything from constipation to diabetes. My dad used to cut the aloe Vera gel into a cube and swallow it for his diabetes. I thought it was disgusting since this thing is ridiculously bitter.

Over time, aloe Vera has integrated itself into everything we use. But, what makes this plant so awesome?
Aloe Vera is said to have over 18 of the 20 amino acids, it is loaded in vitamin A, B, C, and E. Which makes sense since we all know vitamin A & E are the king and queen of beauty products.

Aloe Vera is a great hair conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff, and conditions your hair.

Aloe Vera contains anti-inflammatory actions that may help reduce scalp irritation, moisturizing effect, enzyme and fatty acid content that may help reduce inflammation, vitamins C, E, B-12, folic acid, and choline content. that may help
Aloe Vera does so much for our hair, especially naturally curly hair like mine.

That detangling property is gold for my thick curly hair, the slip from the gel is like no other product you’d ever use. The best part is it’s cheap and you can make it yourself.

After I tweeted about my homemade aloe Vera leave-in conditioner recipe, a lot of you have been asking how I make it. Well, it is a pretty simple 3 steps process.

Where to find aloe Vera

I have my own bush in a pot and my friend's mom has a forest of them. However,  if you don't have a friend's mom with an aloe forest, you can plant one they are pretty easy to propagate and you can always check the Publix, Walmart, or your local green market.

To make my Aloe Vera gel, first I peel the aloe and place the gel gooey part in a plate, I throw it in a blender until it's juiced up
I added some castor oil, jojoba oil, and olive oil to make the best Homemade Aloe Vera Leave In Conditioner you ever had. I Apply the mixture to my hair right after wash and watch the curls sing hallelujah in harmony!
